Te Awamutu Medical Centre had a very successful ‘Great Race’ that concluded at Kaipaki with staff and doctors dressing up and having friendly (mostly) competition finding cars in shopping centre carparks, backing trailers over balloons and imitating show jumping horses at Sutherlands, icing cupcakes at the Olde Creamery and putting, hockey hitting, netball shots and table tennis at Kaipaki where the local Plunket ladies cooked and served dinner to the 50 participants and families. 8 ladies came out from Hamilton to play tennis on Tuesday but the weather was too wet so they played Table Tennis instead. Working Bees for the next three Saturdays from 8.30 am to get Kaipaki into shape for the upcoming season.
