6 a side Tournament
What a great day…about 500 people turned up to watch Martin Bradley’s team go through unbeaten and take this inaugural tournament. He led the team very well from his deck chair…after a few brown fizzies his tactical appreciation for cricket really showed through.
I would also like to take this opportunity to tell you how grateful I am to be put into a prestigious club…a club that the great Brian Lara is in also – only a certain few of us get the opportunity to put our hand up for membership and I have been overwhelmed by all the well wishers on my entry….by the way, we live in an equal opportunity country and have done so for many years…I think we need to stop belittling women and just say it was the best bowler that Kaipaki has seen on the Oval for 16 years…

We are playing at Kaipaki Oval!!!!!!!!!!!!
We all need to bring a plate for lunch – we will eat lunch in the pavilion with the opposition like true English style…please try and bring things like little sandwiches, sausage rolls, custard squares are always good, pizza is also a good option…we need to make it a real point of difference for playing at Kaipaki, if we feed ourselves and the opposition well people will want to continue to play there. Also it is a real opportunity for our wives, girlfriends and boyfriends (did you not know that about Bellis?) to contribute to our team!
