Cricket Club History
The Kaipaki Cricket Club was formed in 1929 and in 1936, after the purchase of a sports ground, it became a Home Ground.
Mr Bert Goodwin was Secretary/Treasurer for many years and Chairman for many more. He was a stalward and Life Member of the Club.
Local player, Martin Croy, played for New Zealand, and Craig Bartlett played for the New Zealand Maori Team.
The Club went into recess in 1997, and opened again in 2011.
