Kaipaki Cricket Classic 2014/15
Regulations
Team Uniform (All teams will wear a 1980’s retro one day shirt)
Leon Holden XI – India
Ryan Preston – Pakistan
Geoff Foster xi – Australia
Cambridge Coaches XI – New Zealand
• Teams must supply their own shorts or pants – if they could match the shirts that would be ideal but no pressure on this.
Venue
All games will be at Kaipaki Oval.
At Kaipaki Oval the following is available for team use:
· Barbeque
· Marquee
· Speaker System
· Changing Sheds
· Kitchen
· Tennis Courts
· Putting Green
We encourage that you bring your family and friends to socialise. Kaipaki is a family friendly environment and this concept is to promote local community engagement.

Points System
Winner 2
Tie 1
Loss 0
Bonus Points
125 runs = 1 point
150 runs = 2 points
175 runs = 3 points
200 runs = 5 points
Hours of Play
Game One will start at 5.30pm
Game Two will start at 7.00pm
Because of possible daylight restrictions we will be monitoring the timings sternly. There will be possible deduction of competition points if teams are disrespecting time.
Game Format
· Both teams will have 10 overs each to bat and field
· Each over will consist of 8 deliveries by the bowler
· Bowlers will bowl from the same end – the tennis court end of Kaipaki Oval
· In each innings the batting team can choose to have 1 ‘Kaipaki Over’ per innings – in a batting ‘Kaipaki Over’ all runs will be double the value
· In each innings the bowling team can choose to have 1 ‘Kaipaki Over’ per innings – in a bowling ‘Kaipaki Over’ there will be a deduction of 10 runs deducted from the batting teams total per wicket that has fallen.
· Wides and no balls will not be rebowled but 5 runs will be added onto the batting total
· Normal one day wides and no ball adjudication will apply as per competition one day cricket.
· The team that scores the must runs wins!
Balls
Games will be played with white 2 piece balls that Kaipaki will supply.
