The Baggy Green & Gold will again travel to Clifton County Cricket Club and compete in the Clifton Cricket Carnival in January.
After a successful trip two years ago Kaipaki will again travel and compete in a quadrangular tournament - the Clifton Cricket Carnival.
Wellington Wanderers, North Bombay CC (Auckland), Clifton County CC and Kaipaki will again be playing in what will be fiercely competitive fixtures. Former NZ cricketers Matthew Sinclair, Lincoln Doull and Evan Gray were some of the names that came out of the woodwork two years ago and there promises to be more in the 2018 version of the Carnival.
The Carnival will again be played at the magnificent Clifton Cricket Ground, which is featured in the cricket book – ‘Remarkable Cricket Grounds’ – which illustrates the best grounds in world cricket.
Kaipaki would like to take a playing touring squad of 15 players. Like all of Kaipaki’s Tours, WAGS are welcome and encouraged to come along.
If you are interested in being part of the touring squad please contact Kent Currie at firstname.lastname@example.org

Kaipaki will play against a mixture of club, invitational, representative and international teams in 2017/2018.
Kaipaki Cricket, following on from a successful first season as a 'kindred' club, have confirmed an exciting season schedule with most games being played at Kaipaki Oval. Last season Kaipaki changed the direction of the club by pulling out their premier team of club competition and have become a 'kindred' club, similar to that of a Harlequins/Barbarians type set up that has been successful in rugby - but also other cricket clubs throughout NZ such as Clifton County CC in Hawkes Bay and Willows CC in Christchurch have led the way for this type of cricket club.
Kaipaki will put a big emphasis in the quality of the cricketing experience - seldom scene at club level in NZ in the modern era. Official umpires, scorers, caterers and general volunteers will all play their part in making sure the day is well organised and the experience is a good one for the cricketers that are participating in the fixture. Kaipaki urge that games are family and community spirited affairs.
3 Saturday teams will still compete in the Hamilton Cricket Association Senior C Saturday Competition during the summer also.

The Kaipaki population is expected to be out in force to ensure the nations capital 'Kaipaki Oval' is in pristine condition heading into a bumper season.
With an exciting cricket season looming, Kaipaki members are rolling up their sleeves this Sunday from 9am - 12pm and giving Kaipaki Oval some tender loving care. The redevelopment of Kaipaki Oval in 2010 has been instrumental in rebuilding Kaipaki Cricket and it is important that the Kaipaki community look after its greatest asset by giving the 'Nation's Capital' the attention it deserves. It will also act as a prime opportunity to ignite the famous Kaipaki culture that is built around good old fashion banter and hard work.
This season, Kaipaki will continue to field 4 Saturday teams that play in local club competitions. Kaipaki has an exciting 'Kindred' match schedule lined up with games already confirmed against ND Maori's, NZ Croatia, UoW Vice Chancellors XI, Seddon CC, Waikato Valley Seniors, Clifton CC, Wanderers CC, Northern Districts Emerging Players XI, Cobham CC and the West Indies. Due to a pay dispute between the Australian Players Association and Cricket Australia and because of Kaipaki's club colours being green and gold, there was talk about Kaipaki hosting England in the upcoming Ashes Series. Fortunately for England, Australian Cricket has sorted out their differences....
It's Green, It's Gold, It's Great.
