Kaipaki Cricket Uniforms
6 November 2015
Hi Team Organisers,
I just wanted to give you some clarity on the Kaipaki Uniform situation – John and myself are very keen that our shop window is looking sharp at all times in the public eye, so we have decided to order team playing uniforms. These uniforms will be the responsibility of the team captains and will remain as club uniforms for the next few years. This decision makes sense as our teams are very transitional as far as playing personal is concerned and not everyone has a cricket uniform to wear for a one off game etc.
The following kits will look like this:
· Kaipaki 1st XI Green One Day uniforms that the team is wearing at present. This team will wear creams after Christmas in the 106 over competition.
· Kaipaki 2nd XI Yellow One Day set with numbers
· Kaipaki 3rd XI Yellow One Day set with numbers
· Kaipaki Originals Yellow One day set with numbers
· Kaipaki U11-13 Kaipaki creams
· Kaipaki U15 Kaipaki Retro Set – David Fox will look after this set
The cap situation will look like this:
Every team will be allocated team caps as follows –
· Kaipaki 1ST XI Already have their allocation.
· Kaipaki 2nd XI Will receive 11 caps that David Fox will look after
· Kaipaki 3rd XI Will receive 11 caps that the Poms will look after
· Kaipaki Originals Will receive another 5 caps that Darin Armstong will look after (most players that play have a cap already)
· Kaipaki U11-13 Will receive 11 caps that Leon Holden will look after.
· Kaipaki U15 This team will use the caps that David Fox is looking after.
The process of getting a cap awarded is as follows:
1. 1-9 games Players must return their cap to the captain.
2. 10 games Players get awarded a new cap with their initials embroidered into the cap.
3. 50 games Players will get their games embroidered into the side of their original caps (see picture below)
4. 100 games Players will get their games embroidered into their original cap plus be awarded a presentation cap that they can put into their blazer pocket.
The following process will be followed for the current top runscorer and current wicket taker for each team:
· Yellow Cap – The current top runscorer will wear a plain yellow cap until a team mate over takes him
· Yellow Headband – The current wicket taker will wear a plain yellow headband until a team mate over takes him.
