Kaipaki found it hard to penetrate through the Wanderers batting line up as Matthew Sinclair showcased all his class by anchoring the innings. Although Kaipaki couldn’t take wickets they still managed to restrict the run rate through tight bowling and committed fielding. Alan Ford was the pick of the bowlers but unfortunately couldn’t pick up any wickets.
Kaipaki cruised to the required target thanks to another special innings by Jerem Wylie who hit 7 massive sixes on his way to 52no. Roddie Sim and Michael Clayton also batted superbly with well measured 30’s.
Kaipaki now take on the Tournament favourites North Bombay CC who look to have a classy line up. They defeated Clifton yesterday by 90 runs scoring 185 to Clifton’s 95.
