Lot been happening at Kaipaki lately – Seddon Park scoreboard now safely ensconced and looking as though it has been there for decades. Brochure developed targeting future funding, applications for mowers, sheds for mowers and sporting equipement.
Usage of Kaipaki is fantastic with Pilates nearly full, Wednesday low impact exercise classes well attended, Wednesday night tennis going well, Capernwray students using the facility twice per week, women’s tennis on Tuesdays, children’s athletics in the summer, cricket practice, bible study for men on Friday mornings, public use most days (mainly tennis), up to 10 private functions and more.
Close Up also did a program on Kaipaki - ? http://tvnz.co.nz/close-up/former-black-cap-brings-slice-england-waikato-town-video-4819430 which has promoted the project as a national template for many others around New Zealand.
As most will know we are making a Kaipaki Business Directory (which is free for the people who have helped or who are helping, this includes all of you) that we will print (1300) and get them out to all households in Kaipaki and surrounding districts encouraging everyone to support those who support us. Verbal encouragement will happen at all Kaipaki Centre events where possible.
You have one week to draw up an ad (specs attached) if you want to be included in the first print (2 per year, if there are additions). Some on this list have already sent it but could you send it again please?
Many thanks for your help.
